Dynamic stability of an electromagnetic suspension maglev vehicle under steady aerodynamic load

چکیده

In this study, the suspension stability of a maglev vehicle is investigated under steady aerodynamic load. The dynamics in vertical direction are modelled by considering lift and pitching moment, model adopted to investigate how load influences analysing critical speed means eigenvalue analysis direct integration. Doing so reveals three modes failure: (i) an upward or moment can give rise dynamic instability, (ii) downward static instability (iii) electromagnet becomes locked guide-way because force borne exceeds weight it, electromagnetic cannot adjust gap. essence, failure correspond motion when system perturbed small amount, whereas mode similar holding track event control failure, albeit different mechanism. Each has its own speed, that depends on coefficients feedback gains determined.
